Reynaldo HAHN - La musique de chambre vol.1 (World Premieres)

After releasing World Premiere of the Violin Concerto and Suite Hungarian Magueloneagain with a CD of chamber music works, all engraved for the first time. It includes,among others, the great Sonata for Violin and Piano and the Piano Quintet. The latter(1920) is closer to that of Franck that Fauré. We always find the tenderness and humor of the musician (final rondo). Sonata (1926) also think more about Franck. The humorreappears in the second movement, subtitled oddly "12 HP; 8cyl; 5000 rpm" momentof high virtuosity. Beautiful lesson of a composer that some would consider "light"!DDD 63'29 / Booklet-French-German
