The Ensemble Musica Nigella was born of a growing desire of musicians, loyal to the eponymous festival and its artistic director Takenori Nemoto, create a solid core of about twenty musicians. Over time, since its inception in 1996, Euphony, organizer of the Festival Musica association Nigella has scheduled more than 80 young musicians, some of which ended up today, after completing their musical journey in France and abroad as a soloist , in chamber music or orchestra, to mount the first professional ensemble of Pas-de-Calais. Members of all, from different backgrounds (Orchestre de Paris, Orchestre National de France, The Musicians of the Louvre, La Chambre Philharmonique, Le Cercle de l'Harmonie Ensemble 2E2M, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Pelleas ...) bring to the training experiences of these musical styles to enrich the repertoire. Although it is extended, all defended especially French music and contemporary art as well as the repertoire and hopes to become an ambassador of the Nord / Pas-de-Calais to represent French musical art in Europe and and abroad. With its artistic quality, the Ensemble Musica Nigella has received since its inception, the approval of the General Council of the Pas-de-Calais. The Ensemble Musica Nigella occurs alongside artistic personalities such as Marie-Christine Barrault, Marie Fujiwara, Yoshi Oida and Mireille Laroche.
